Nicaragua’s Mukul Resort welcomes Brazilian press for a brunch.
On a first visit to Brazil, Mukul Resort sales & communications team landed in Sao Paulo for the VIRTUOSO Brasil week and took the opportunity to meet the local press in a “muy buena onda” brunch event. Press Pod team chose the tropical gardens of chef Mario Galuzzi’s house in Pinheiros neighborhood – pointed with glossy and colorful surf boards – to bring some of Nicaragua’s Emerald Coast vibe to the gathering. General manager Carlos Salazar presented some engaging videos of Mukul – common areas, accommodations, activities, spa and golf course – and also told about Nicaragua sites and how authentic this destination is (the land of lakes, volcanos, between the Caribbean and the amazing waves of the Pacific Ocean). And as Brazilians are big fans of surf and waves, Joanna Evans, communications director, told about how Mukul position itself as a world-class surfing destination, offering packages such as the Bikini Surf Camp (exclusively for women) and experiences such as the Surfaris, where upper level surfers can be taken to catch other amazing swells in closer beaches of the Emerald Cost, such as Gigante and Popoyo. On the road introducing VIK wine and Vik Retreats
Roadshows are an elementary when promoting a brand and powering its awareness in a specific market. During November 2015, our team travelled to sis Brazilian cities – Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, Curitiba, e Brasília – presenting Vik Retreats in evening cocktails where Viña Vik Mullahue’s VIK wine was served for tasting. The idea of this roadshow was to bring some of the brand experience to our guests – clientes, profissionais do mercado de vinhos premium, formadores de opinião, entre outros.
Quem já esteve em algum dos Vik Retreats sabe que seus espaços interiores respiram arte. Cada retreat foi concebido por conhecidos arquitetos, suas áreas comuns e acomodações abrigam obras assinadas por artistas locais (do Uruguai e Chile), como de nomes internacionais. Esculturas, pinturas, instalações… hospedar-se nos Vik Retreats é um convite para apreciar uma surpreendente coleção de arte – cuja curadoria, cada peça ali colocada, tem as mãos dos proprietários, Carrie e Alexander Vik.
Foi pensando nisto que optamos realizar estes eventos em galerias de arte, de maneira que pudéssemos transmitir um pouco do que é o lifestyle e o DNA de Vik Retreats. O mesmo fizemos este ano, 2017, em nosso primeiro roadshow latinoamericano, em Buenos Aires, realizado no dia 2 de maio na Galeria Praxis, no charmoso bairro porteño da Recoleta.
