Fashion Weekend Kids is a family focused event that showcases the newest collections of prime fashion brands for children. It takes place in Sao Paulo’s most interesting venues, such as JK Iguatemi Mall and Cidade Jardim Mall, and has also hosted parallel editions in other Brazilian cities such as Goiania.
With an attractive niched audience, composed by A & B class families, the shows have a nice vibe and at the end, the director, Ana Cury, raffles prizes to the little top models – the kids that participate on the show and worked hard to do their best to cheer the audience.

For the first time, Ushuaia’s ski season will present DJ nights. Celebrated DJS Marina Diniz and Ornella Maggi will lead the après-ski parties at Arakur Resort.
Ushuaia, located in the southern tip of the planet, has the longest ski season in South America – snow usually starts to fall in June and its predicted to end by begging of October at the Cerro Castor ski station, located only 26 km from the city. Cerro Castor features 34 ski slopes in different levels and this year the news is that two of their main slopes are now connected – bringing another option for descending. The snow has been falling regularly in a very good quality – as well as the temperature is predicted to maintain stable around -5 to 5 C during the whole ski season. But the best is announced to happen from July 27th to 30th (Thu – Sun): celebrated DJs Marina Diniz and Ornella Maggi will take over the pick-ups, starting at noon at Cerro Castor ski station’s Restaurant 480, continuing the après-ski from 7:00 PM on at Arakur Resort’s lobby bar. The two DJs are Brazilian and with their cool music repertoire and friendly vibe have featured sessions at some of world’s best ski hubs such as Courchevel and Aspen Snowmass. The two ladies are known for cheering up Brazil’s leading New Years’ parties: the Réveillon de Trancoso and the Réveillon de São Miguel dos Milagres.

On a first visit to Brazil, Mukul Resort sales & communications team landed in Sao Paulo for the VIRTUOSO Brasil week and took the opportunity to meet the local press in a “muy buena onda” brunch event. Press Pod team chose the tropical gardens of chef Mario Galuzzi’s house in Pinheiros neighborhood – pointed with glossy and colorful surf boards – to bring some of Nicaragua’s Emerald Coast vibe to the gathering. General manager Carlos Salazar presented some engaging videos of Mukul – common areas, accommodations, activities, spa and golf course – and also told about Nicaragua sites and how authentic this destination is (the land of lakes, volcanos, between the Caribbean and the amazing waves of the Pacific Ocean). And as Brazilians are big fans of surf and waves, Joanna Evans, communications director, told about how Mukul position itself as a world-class surfing destination, offering packages such as the Bikini Surf Camp (exclusively for women) and experiences such as the Surfaris, where upper level surfers can be taken to catch other amazing swells in closer beaches of the Emerald Cost, such as Gigante and Popoyo. TV start Gloria Maria enjoyed a family vacation in Ushuaia in March 2016, where she could introduce to her daugthers, Laura and Maria, the wild and beautiful landscapes of Patagonia.
The family was hosted at Arakur Resort, a Leading Hotels of the World and Virtuoso member, the best hotel in town – the same one that back in 2015 welcomed a very special guest, Academy Award Winner Leonardo DiCaprio, who stayed in Ushuaia for filming the movie “The Revenant”. The mother and the two little girls had an amazing time exploring the nature, for example doing a short trekking to Alarkén Mountain – right above the hotel where you can have a 360º view of the city of Ushuaia, the Andes mountain range. They also visited the destination main attractions such as Tierra del Fuego National Park where they boarded in the infamous “End of the World train”, which used to transport Argentina’s most dangerous prisoners in the beggining of the 20th century (1902); they also navigated in the Beagle Channel to watch wild animals like sealions and penguins.
As a mother and journalist, whose career allowed her to travel and see the world, Gloria Maria carefully tailored this family trip to Patagonia to introduce out of the ordinary places to her daughters: sea, mountains, glaciars, wildlife in its natural habitat. As well as to challenge the girls, for example to persist in climbing a mountain, and when reaching it, getting the most beautiful view as a gift.

Austin is definitely the new hype. Considered by the Americans the capital of live music, Austin also hosts a variety of cultural events, such as the celebrated SXSW and Austin City Limits festivals. A city bustling live and modernity in a Texas state known for its conservative cultural heritage. So we came to ELLE Brasil magazine and proposed a story about this amazing destination, and having the support of Texas Tourism office and Austin convention & visitors bureau, we arranged an individual FAM trip to ELLE’s reporter, who visited Austin and Fredericksburg in a 5 days itinerary, including free time to explore local shops, the foddie scene the city’s famous food trucks and of course, to experience Kimpton Van Zandt – the recently opened hotel totally inspired by music.

Viña Vik is an out of the World wine destination. Situated at the Millahue Valley, aproximately 2 hours south of Santiago, Chile, in the wine zone of Cachapoal, the property has over 4 thousand hectares, among 400 are vineyards.
In August 2015, Viña Vik welcomed the producers from Brazilian Globosat + channel, that came for filming the show Hotéis Incríveis, for an episode entirely dedicated to prime hotels inside wineries. In April 2017, we’ve opened Viña Vik’s gates to TV host Daniel Greve’s stylish RV, that is weekly broadcasted at Terruá, Canal 13C’s gastronomy & wine show dedicated to showcase the best wineries in Chile. Daniel was guided by VIK’s wine master and consultant Patrick Vallete, as well as by wine maker Cristián Vallejo. Viña Vik’s chef, Rodrigo Acuña, also hosted the crew for a genuine gastronomic experience at “el huerto”, that features a common table for organic banquets.
