Il Sereno Lago di Como Riva boats
In the grand tradition of guests traveling and experiencing Lake Como via boat, Il Sereno commissioned three custom Cantiere Ernesto Riva boats from the namesake family that has been building boats by hand in the nearby town of Laglio since 1771. Il Sereno guests may also travel to other destinations on the lake via two Jetto’s or the grand Vaporina del Lago which features interiors designed by Patricia Urquiola.

Designed by Patricia Urquiola, Il Sereno Lago di Como is Europe’s most luxurious new hotel.
Sereno Hotels is pleased to announce the opening of new Il Sereno, the first contemporary luxury hotel on Lake Como, Italy. Designed by famed Milan-based architect and designer Patricia Urquiola, the all-suites hotel features 30 oversized suites, all with their own furnished terraces and lake views. Acclaimed botanist Patrick Blanc contributed his signature vertical botanical gardens throughout the property, including a spectacular “green sculpture” work of art.
Il Sereno is becoming a design icon among luxury hospitality in Europe and worldwide. Number one female longboarder in the world’s ranking by @wsl Brazilian Chloé Calmon @chloecalmon spent a week as a resident surfer at Mukul Resort, in the Emerald Coast of Nicarágua. Guests staying at Mukul from May 17th to 21st, 2017, had the opportunity to interact with the professional longboarder, and catch some of the amazing waves of Playa Manzanillo left break. Austin is definitely the new hype. Considered by the Americans the capital of live music, Austin also hosts a variety of cultural events, such as the celebrated SXSW and Austin City Limits festivals. A city bustling live and modernity in a Texas state known for its conservative cultural heritage. So we came to ELLE Brasil magazine and proposed a story about this amazing destination, and having the support of Texas Tourism office and Austin convention & visitors bureau, we arranged an individual FAM trip to ELLE’s reporter, who visited Austin and Fredericksburg in a 5 days itinerary, including free time to explore local shops, the foddie scene the city’s famous food trucks and of course, to experience Kimpton Van Zandt – the recently opened hotel totally inspired by music.
